Device settings
INTRODUCTION
The CWMP protocol device configuration (CPE WAN Management Protocol) is essential to establish efficient communication between the equipment and the ACS server. This protocol, also known as TR-069, allows remote management of network devices, facilitating the configuration, updating and monitoring of equipment.
Path: The configuration is performed directly on the device, either by physical access or web interface.
BENEFITS
- Remote device management
- Automatic equipment configuration
- What? Real-time monitoring
- Simplified firmware update
- Reduction of technical visits for configuration
Step by step - Basic Configuration for CWMP Pointing
- Make sure the equipment supports the CWMP protocol (TR-069, TR-098, TR-181)
- Access the device physically or via web interface
- Find the configuration tab CWMP or TR-069
- Configure the following data for communication:
- Domain:http://domínio/tr069- Login: admin
- Password: "Be informed during installation of the ACS system"

FINAL CONSIDERATIONS
The configuration of the CWMP protocol varies between manufacturers, as not all strictly follow BroadBand Forum documentation. For ONT equipment, it is crucial to verify that the service type INTERNET TR069 is enabled in the WAN interface. In case of questions about a specific equipment, it is recommended to contact the technical support or the manufacturer.
